This is a pastel painting taken from a reference photo of the kitchen at Fort Clinch on Amelia Island, FL. The kitchen was set up as it would have been when the fort was active in the 1800’s. There were many items on the shelves, but the onion was sitting there, waiting to be used in the days cooking.
