“Sharing” Pastel on 11″ x 14″ Jack Richeson Premium Pastel Surface Gator Foam board. This is the first time I have used this, I really like it, it takes a lot of pastel (there are a lot of greens in the lily pads) This picture did not start off with this composition in mind when I started it, but my original idea (of the bird alone on the log downstream) did not really work well, so I made several changes to it as I went along, this is what I have finished (I think) with.
