I am starting to work on painting portraits and figures of people. Its harder since getting photos of peoples faces in the right lighting (and then their permission) isn’t as easy as getting photos of pets. I took these photos of a neighbors granddaughter on a sunny afternoon, and used this one to paint as one of my first portraits.
